Introduction
I am PRIVILEGED to have been a performing arts teacher within mainstream education for 18 years. I specialise within drama and singing. I have seen the impact that both can have to improve a child’s character, confidence and oracy skills. I am really excited to share my passion within my own school. I believe in the power both areas have in transforming a child and can’t wait to show you their capabilities!!
Screen Acting
A one hour class focusing on developing
Acting Skills for Screen, TV & Film. Students
then work towards MN acting grades in
screen acting. Higher grades account for
UCAS points when applying for university
Think about how your children are learning in today’s world-
television, computers, online, films, through AI and using other
technology. Their life is becoming more on-screen than ever,
so we need to give them the skills to accommodate the
modern world.
It compliments theatre training, is a great way to introduce
film – a popular medium with all young people and it’s a fun,
rewarding skill to learn! Therefore, when considering your
choice of exam for performing arts qualifications, the pertinent
question shifts from ‘why screen acting’ to ‘why not?’

Research has shown that teaching oracy skills well in school significantly improves educational outcomes
Perfect Pitch’s aims would be to enhance both your performing arts and oracy provision
There has been a major decline within arts education in schools. Along with this online learning has impacted children’s oracy and communication skills.
